Searching for a place to go today

I took this photo a couple of days ago. The flower is off my plumbago bush that is really growing well and blooming like crazy. The bed where I put it is so wet that I'm pretty sure some of the plants I have there will not do well. My little laurel has already been moved to a pot for a little while to see if it will snap out of it's doldrums. There are still a few green leaves on it. Most of the seedlings are growing and some of the sets I transplanted there are okay too, but I want some irises because I have heard they like a boggy bed.

Gardening is exercising my heart and soul as well as my body. I love to see the plants that do well and anguish over the ones that don't. And I am learning patience too. I really would like to see instant results, but some of the seedlings seem so slow!

The cross in the photo was given to me by my daughter. It's so old world and beautiful. Of course I love it, as I do everything she gives me.

My xanga journal sites are down today and that's the real reason I am here. I have this compunction to write, so that's how it is with me.

So far I have sent a notify email about this site so it is sort of a secret place for me.

Is this trip neccessary?

Remember that old saying during WWII when things were rationed, gas being one of them?

I only did this to get to comment on another bloggers site.
